Key Concepts
Employees
Individual staff members with:
- Profile information (name, contact)
- Assigned role (determines permissions)
- PIN for POS login
- Active/inactive status
Roles
Permission templates that define what employees can do:
- Server — Take orders, process payments
- Bartender — Server permissions + bar features
- Manager — Full access + voids, discounts
- Owner — Complete access including settings
Shifts
Time records tracking:
- Clock in/out times
- Breaks (paid and unpaid)

Common Tasks
Add Employee
Portal → Employees → Add Employee. Enter name, email, role.
Set PIN
Create 4-6 digit PIN for POS login. Employee can change later.
Assign Role
Select role that matches their job responsibilities.
Activate
Toggle to "Active" so they can clock in and work.
