Payment processing powered by Stripe.

Plasma uses Stripe for all payment processing. This means you get enterprise-grade payment infrastructure with transparent pricing and fast payouts.

Setting Up Stripe

Create a Stripe Account

If you don't have one:

  1. Go to stripe.com
  2. Click Start now
  3. Enter your business details
  4. Complete identity verification

Connect to Plasma

In the Merchant Portal:

  1. Go to SettingsPayments
  2. Click Connect Stripe
  3. Authorize Plasma to access your Stripe account
  4. You're done—payments now process through Stripe

Terminal Setup

Ordering Hardware

Order terminals directly from Stripe:

  1. Log into your Stripe Dashboard
  2. Go to TerminalHardware
  3. Select M2 Reader or S700
  4. Complete purchase

Terminals ship directly to you.

Pairing a Terminal

Once your terminal arrives:

  1. Power on the terminal
  2. In Plasma POS, go to SettingsPayments
  3. Tap Add Terminal
  4. Follow the on-screen pairing instructions

The terminal connects via Bluetooth (M2) or WiFi (S700).

Pricing

Stripe's standard pricing applies:

  • 2.7% + 5¢ per in-person transaction
  • 2.9% + 30¢ per online transaction

No monthly fees, no minimums, no contracts.

Plasma does not add any additional payment processing fees on the Pay As You Go plan.

Payouts

Stripe deposits funds to your bank account automatically:

  • Standard — 2 business days
  • Instant — Available for 1% fee

View payout schedule and history in your Stripe Dashboard.

Refunds

Process refunds directly from Plasma:

  1. Find the order in Order History
  2. Tap Refund
  3. Select full or partial refund
  4. Confirm

Refunds appear on the customer's card in 5-10 business days.

Disputes

If a customer disputes a charge:

  1. Stripe notifies you via email
  2. Submit evidence through Stripe Dashboard
  3. Stripe handles the dispute process

Plasma provides transaction details automatically to help with disputes.
